Earlier this year, S2K Graphics received its 5th U.S. patent for innovative P.O.P. products.  “Most of our clients are surprised to learn that S2K owns five patents,” said Dan Pulos, VP/GM.  “That’s not typical in our industry.  But we view ourselves as solution providers and when we find client solutions lacking with standard promotional signage elements, our innovation team gets to work on concepts and ideas.  With the support of our parent company’s legal and R&D departments, really good things can happen!”

Placement software platform that optimally depicts graphics in the proper location for maximum sales at retail locations, (3) dimensional offsets that add 3-D effects to flat graphic panels, (4) box signs that add graphics to bollards in parking lots and drive-thru paths, and (5) Red Dot film that allows for simple & easy installation of over-sized graphics by non-professionals.

S2K Recognized as Leading Large Format Printer

S2K Graphics has been recognized as one of the Top 150 Wide Format printers in America.  The recognition is based on S2K’s annual volume of wide format print production. 

“S2K was ranked in the upper third of the listing for 2022 and we’re quite proud of that accomplishment”, said Dan Pulos, S2K’s VP/GM.  “But we’re even more excited about 2023 when we expect a rise in the ranking based on the increased capacity of our new printing equipment and growing customer demand for our newly patented Red Dot graphic product.  Q1 print volume is trending in the right direction and the backlog for Q2 looks strong.”

With the Red Dot Solution, oversized decals can be installed in under two minutes — no professional expertise required. Simply peel off the red dots on the back of the graphic and position it on the window, wall or floor. Reposition as needed until the placement is perfect. S2K Moves into a Brand New Building!

S2K Graphics has moved its headquarters and print operation into a brand-new building located in Simi Valley, California.   

After 33 years of continuous operation in the suburbs of Los Angeles, S2K has relocated to neighboring Ventura County.  The new building was customized specifically for S2K and offers an improved workflow, modern office appointments, and ample safe parking.  S2K upgraded its printing and finishing equipment as part of the move.  The centerpiece of that investment was the purchase of a new Durst P5 printer with automation features. 

“Our entire operations team did a miraculous job in relocating the business in less than half the time originally projected, said Dan Pulos, Vice President.  “The new operation is efficient, clean, and very modern.  Corporate visitors from our parent company, Franke Foodservice, have been impressed.  The combination of a more efficient workflow, the phenomenal print speed of the Durst, and all of the new support equipment bode well for high customer satisfaction scores in 2023 and beyond.”

S2K Wraps a McDonald’s Restaurant to Promote Loyalty!

Acknowledging S2K’s national leadership in site surveys, oversized graphic production & installation, McDonald’s Corporation recently contracted S2K to wrap an entire restaurant in Edison, New Jersey to promote customer loyalty and the McDonald’s Mobile App!  The whimsical lightbulb graphics gave a “nod” to this community's famous inventor, Thomas Edison.  Graphics were strategically placed around the outside of the restaurant to provide instructions on how to participate in McDonald’s mobile promotions and receive FREE McDonald’s Food.

S2K Exhibits @ The World’s Largest Convenience Store Event

S2K spent a long weekend with friends and colleagues in Las Vegas for the 2022 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) annual convention.  It was a great opportunity to meet new convenience store retailers and grow S2K’s footprint in this growing market segment.  S2K showcased its patent pending Red Dot Solution along with an expansive merchandising portfolio tailored specifically to NACS attendees.  S2K’s national leadership in merchandising surveys and professional installation services also resonated with many booth visitors.  Next year’s NACS will be held in Atlanta.

S2K named a Top 50 P.O.P. Company

Creative Magazine, the bible of the P.O.P. industry, has ranked S2K as one of the Top 50 P.O.P. Companies in America for 2022.  S2K has been on the magazine's Top 50 list for several years running.  

"We are honored to be on the Top 50 list once again," said Dan Pulos, S2K VP.  "The ranking was based on 2021 sales volume and, while overall volume was impacted by lingering COVID effects, we developed new clients in foodservice and automotive verticals that kept us busy.  We anticipate continued economic recovery in the retail sector in 2022 and a return to normalcy for the business.”
